In a heartfelt plea, Joseph Umera has called on his 15-year-old maternal cousin, Favour Lawrence, to return home after she ran away in January 2024 following a minor disagreement with her father in Oron, Akwa Ibom State.
Umera posted on Facebook on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, revealing that Favour’s father has since passed away and was buried in Imo State.
“Public Notice: This is my maternal cousin, Favour Lawrence (@favvie Akabs). She ran away from home in Oron, AKS, on January 19th this year, after a minor disagreement with her father. Since then, she hasn’t been seen or heard from. She left her phone at home,” Umera wrote.
He continued, “Favour is 15 years old and was in SS2 at the time. Anyone with information about her whereabouts should contact me. Favour, if you see this post, know that your father has died and was buried in your hometown in Imo State. Your brothers are living with my mom, Aunty Glory (Mummy Calabar), in Calabar.
