Burna Boy reportedly renovates ‘Cheshire’ orphanage home in Port Harcourt

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has reportedly spearheaded the renovation of an orphanage home named ‘Cheshire Home’ in Port Harcourt.

This information was disseminated on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by a user identified as @benny7gg. The tweet, accompanied by a caption urging prayers for ODG, stated that the orphanage had been fully renovated through funding from Burna Boy and implementation by The Reach NG. The completion of the project was scheduled for commissioning on the same day.

Since the initial report, numerous media outlets have shared and commented on the post, attributing the renovation to Burna Boy. However, as of now, Burna Boy has neither confirmed nor denied his involvement in the project.

This development follows shortly after singer Davido’s philanthropic gesture of donating 300 million naira to orphanages in Nigeria. Davido provided evidence and a list of the orphanages set to receive the donations, garnering attention for his charitable contributions.
