EFCC Detains 64 Alleged Internet Fraudsters in Osun

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced the arrest of 64 individuals suspected of internet fraud in Ede, Osun State.

Dele Oyewale, the Head of Media and Publicity for the EFCC, revealed this in a statement issued to the press on Friday.

According to Oyewale, the arrests were made based on reliable intelligence concerning their alleged involvement in fraudulent activities in the region.

The statement further detailed that the operatives seized a range of items from the suspects. These included 18 exotic cars, 18 laptops, 112 mobile phones, three PlayStation consoles, five motorcycles, and various other documents that are potentially incriminating.
