“How Tinubu intervened to save Zack Orji’s life” — AGN, Chief Ejezie Emeka Rollas

The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Chief Ejezie Emeka Rollas, expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his assistance with Zack Orji’s health.

According to reports from Gistreel, Zack Orji traveled to the UK for a post-surgery assessment, and Rollas commended President Tinubu for his support in this regard. Rollas also extended appreciation to First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her caring nature toward the veteran actor, as well as President Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, for providing significant support.

Rollas further thanked Minister for Women Affairs Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye for her relentless efforts in ensuring Zack Orji’s swift recovery, and also acknowledged Orji’s longtime friend Ahmed Bala for standing by him throughout the period.

In his statement, Rollas emphasized the unprecedented support President Tinubu is offering to the creative industry, demonstrating his commitment to uplifting the sector for the benefit of practitioners and the national economy. Rollas concluded by expressing the guild’s appreciation for President Tinubu’s contributions.

Rollas had previously conveyed deep appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for appointing Ali Nuhu, a member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), as the Managing Director of the Nigeria Film Corporation. He also expressed gratitude for the appointments of other key professionals in the industry, including Dr. Shaibu Husseini as the Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board and Obi Osika as the Director General of the Council for Arts and Culture.

Additionally, Rollas debunked rumors circulating days earlier suggesting that Zack Orji had passed away. The leadership of the AGN clarified the viral report, emphasizing that Orji was alive and well.
