Ossai Success criticizes gospel singer Theophilus Sunday for the perceived immorality of holding his fiancée’s waist in pre-wedding photos.

Gospel artist Theophilus Sunday has faced criticism from Ossai Ovie Success for his pre-wedding photoshoot with his fiancée, Ashley White.

Sunday announced his engagement to White on March 19, sharing a glimpse of their shoot where they were dressed in white, with Sunday seen holding White’s waist.

Ossai, a former senior special assistant on media to Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, voiced disapproval, citing Christian norms that deem it inappropriate to hold the waist of a woman who isn’t one’s spouse.

Ossai rebuked Theophilus, a Minister of God, for using the image to depict immorality to the public.

Ossai emphasized that God disapproved of the singer holding the woman’s waist in the picture, stressing the impropriety of the action and urging Theophilus Sunday to reflect on the context and repercussions of his actions.

Directly addressing the gospel performer, Ossai pleaded with him to acknowledge the gravity of his actions and seek forgiveness from God for persisting in such behavior.

He wrote:

“Dear Gospel singer Theophilus Sunday,

Holding the waist of your fiancé is morally inappropriate. It goes against the teachings of Christianity and is considered taboo traditionally.

As a minister of God, displaying such behavior publicly sends the wrong message and promotes immorality.

God is displeased with this action because it equates to engaging in sinful acts. Take a moment to reflect on the positioning and implications of such actions.

It is important to acknowledge and seek forgiveness for this wrongdoing.

Ossai Ovie Success.”
