Security Forces Open Fire on Protesters and Journalists in Abuja

A full-scale melee has erupted during the ongoing protest in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT)

This occurred after security forces at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja fired live rounds at protesters and journalists.

The security operatives, attempting to disperse the crowd, targeted both protesters and journalists, causing them to flee for safety.

The protests entered their third day on Saturday.

However, security forces have responded to the demonstrators and unarmed civilians with excessive force and violence, resulting in numerous deaths across the country.
